Today, I registered for an online Google course on advanced searching. Considering myself a proficient searcher, teaching students search strategy and successful research skills, one might think a course on searching would be unnecessary. Yet I must admit to all, I have become a stale searcher. It is important to remember that as lifelong learners, strategies and methods change, and so must we change and stay up-to-date. So I ask you this question: When was the last time you searched a web page for specific information or a word, and was taken directly to that spot on the web page in seconds? If you cannot answer this question, or do not know how to locate a specific word on a page, then I suggest you consider investigating +Google Online Courses.
